Overall good nightclub for Calgary. Layout is nice with a big dance floor surrounded by elevated booths for bottle service. Music is predominantly hip hop and is pretty good but not necessarily up to date. This venue only has one main bar however, because of its size and the number of bartenders, getting a drink is quick and painless. Dress code is definitely in effect with most attendees in cocktail attire. Bathrooms are extremely narrow. Its as if they tried to fit as many individual stalls as they possibly could without considering that the space they were working with is essentially the size of a short hallway.
I visited on a Saturday where the bouncers weren't so friendly/polite/welcoming and the person taking cover for that night followed suit. After getting in we were greeted by the manager (possibly owner...unsure) who offered us a refreshing positive energy. There were two DJs that night who seemed to have quite the air of arrogance to them considering their selection of 2010-2016 hip-hop with recurring intermissions of techno music had not managed to bring in more than 25-30 people that night. Myself and a group of girls asked them politely if we could stand in a booth beside their DJ booth and their response was anything but professional or well mannered. Shortly after that encounter we left and headed to the next venue.
This nightclub has a good layout, alright music, and an efficient bar, but it is still lacking in an extremely important area: customer service.
