So cute on the outside, so disappointing in reality. I had 3 tacos, Diablo shrimp, beer battered fish and grilled mahi mahi. The mahi mahi was bitter and flat out inedible; I'm not sure if the fish had gone bad but I wouldn't have eaten it either way. The beer battered fish was a tiny sliver of fish over an overly sweet garnish/filling. The spicy shrimp were cloyingly sweet and tasted like someone had put a scoop of cheap Chinese food in a corn tortilla. We brought this to the waitress's attention and they credited $2 to our bill. My husband's salad was decent but quite pricy by the time he had some extra vegetables and guacamole added. The guacamole and queso we had to start with were both fine, as were the rice and beans served as sides. I vacillated between a 1 and a 2 on this rating and decided to be generous with a 2.
If street tacos and tequila are what you're craving I'd recommend Joyride Taco House which is a 4 or 5 star experience for the same concept.
