A classic case of a restaurant that lost quality and service as they expanded too quickly.
We used to frequent their original location on Flamingo. It was so good. We used to bring friends and a few bottles of wine. And honestly, we were so happy when they opened closer to our home.
This location used to be pretty good. Their Rainbow location was never good
My wife and I just had dinner at the Sahara location tonight. Friday night and it was half empty. They no longer serve Thai toast. Their little marinated peppers are no longer the actual Thai peppers... they use Serrano peppers.
Food was decent. The part that really bothered me was their take out containers.
Thai food is saucy with curry. They gave us the generic styrofoam containers. We asked for soup containers, and they gave us styrofoam containers. Lol.
Maybe I'm a snob, but when I go to a sit down restaurant... I expect nicer takeout containers. Theirs is worse than fast food.
Most likely the last time we come here. Too many new Thai spots in town. If Archie's doesn't renew their commitment to quality, they will be closed within two years. Mark my words.
