| - So far I am not impressed with Beazer homes here in the Northwest. For all their hype and loyal customers, I really feel they are like every other major housing developer.
First off, the managing of this neighborhood is crap. No street parking unless you have a permit? That's bullshit. Oh but people do it, and the one time you do it? You get a warning from the manager that there is no street parking. What about the thirty other people on the street RIGHT NEXT TO US? Oh no, forget about THOSE people.
Lately there has been a lot of construction on things they have messed up. Like the drainage. They sat there for two weeks taking out the sideways where the water runs down (there are NO sidewalks by the way) everywhere, including in front of peoples' driveways. AND THEY DIDN'T TELL THEM! So people come home form work to see that, oh, they can't use their driveway. Or they try to leave from home to go to work and, oh, there's a huge ass ditch they have to drive into. Nice Beazer, real nice.
Next, they have just redone the streets here. Why? Who the hell knows. They didn't look bad before, but I guess they like to waste the money that is paid to them every month for keeping things looking good. Oh, and housing construction is not over yet, so they will have to do it again later. Great.
Why do I care about all that? Because there is still, six months after moving here, one stretch of sidewalk (on the main road where there are sidewalks) that is randomly still just dirt. So it goes: tree, shrub, red rocks, dirt dirt dirt dirt, tree, rocks, shrub. What the hell is going on that these people can just let that stay dirt??
