Castaways is run by the Central Christian Church. It is one of the nicest thrift stores I've ever been to. It is clean, spacious and organized. Merchandise is clean and in great condition. They don't sell janky items that look like they should've been simply thrown away in the first place. I've been to other thrift stores that actually put broken or really dirty items up for sale. Not cool to come across a cumin/body odor ridden t-shirt while looking through the clothes rack :o
They sell pretty much everything; furniture, housewares, clothing, toys, books, etc...
Prices vary. They range from cheap to a little higher priced. They have daily specials so be sure to check out the board at the entrance or ask one of their friendly staff.
If buying secondhand isn't your thing you can help by making a donation. They have a convenient donation drop off located in back of the building - just follow the signs.
If you are in the area be sure to check them out. You never know what kind of treasures you'll find :)
