Took this 60 mile scenic route from Valley of Fire to Hoover Dam. The landscape is not brilliantly hued like Valley of Fire but is a marvel in its own right. Unfortunately with the drought, you don't see much water. The park people offer many programs if you live nearby. A coyote walked along the road in broad daylight. I also learned if you are disabled, you can tour all national parks free for life--ask the ranger about this! Bathrooms are pits--so look great on the outside and full of yucky flies on the inside. Might plan to go elsewhere.
