I first walked in and there was hardly anyone in the waiting area. I needed to see the doctors about the condition i was going through. My whole body was covered in hives and my fever would not go away. My muscles ache and whenever i'd look into the mirror i felt myself getting redder. The lady at the front had me quickly fill out paperwork to get me checked in right away. And immediately grabbed a tech to bring me in. I believe it was less than 10 minutes of waiting. I was able to fill out the rest of my paperwork inside. I was sent in the room and my tech and nurse quickly took my vitals and called Dr. Nick. Dr. Nick was very kind. I'm thankful it was not the doctor that the last two ladies have reviewed about. Dr. Nick instructed the nurse to quickly give me a shot of benadryl and prednisone with tynenol. However, after waiting over an hour they saw that there was barely any improvement with my hives and fever. They did not let me leave until I felt much better. So the Dr. Nick then instructed for xrays and lab tests. My tech was amazing at blood draws and inserting my IV! I wish I had remembered his name. The benadryl was making me drowsy during that time. As soon as i was given my IV, i honestly felt better. It took awhile. My lab results was something i was interested in. I somehow diagnosed myself thinking i had the measles. Which i did not. Thank goodness. Turns out i had anaphylactic. I was having this severe allergic reaction to my recent medication. But overall, im very thankful that Dr. Nick, the nurse, and the tech made sure I left feeling relieved and took great care of me.
If i were to ever go there, hopefully i'm able to request which doctor, nurse and tech I could be under. Ive done clinicals at hospitals before and i have seen the worst doctors, nurses and techs that do not give a single damn about their patient.
