It's extremely difficult to be here. It's a shelter so I didn't expect it to be ritzy. But what did I hate most? Seeing almost every cage absolutely filthy and had feces, several dogs without water, and depressed, and workers in the front doing absolutely nothing! You don't need more than one person up front when it's totally dead, everyone else should be off their butts cleaning and helping these poor animals. You walk in, you can feel the depression.
I had a great moment being in one of the dog wings all alone, and all the dogs were absolutely quiet and being sweet as can be. In walks a worker and suddenly every single dog in the place was barking at the top of their lungs and growling. And it happened almost every time any volunteer just walked through. I get some of them got excited, but some turned aggressive. Just an observation.
Please come here to adopt!
