  • Shear Excellence has quickly become my go to place for getting a hair cut in the queen city. The price is steep ($36 for the deluxe package), but this includes a beer (more than one if you drink em fast enough), hair cut, shampoo, scalp message/treatment, and a blow dry/styling to finish you off before concluding the visit. The location is fairly convenient being located right off east blvd. I usually park at that Harris Teeter near by and walk over instead of parking in the deck. There's plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to partake in. Tip: Ask for Melissa when you make your reservation, shes the best! :-)
