  • Hello future resident (that's what you are potentially called so read the below); I don't normally post reviews for apartments I reside but; this one seems very vital for so many upcoming residents like you. (Especially I saw the comments on their website, I'm like wow). This has been my 4th day in this apartment complex and I sincerely believe this place holds such a potential to be one of the best one in the North Phoenix. Within a couple touch here in there, people would really enjoy living here. But (which is a big one), I don't think Weidner (management of the company) sees it that way. I'm not such a tenant who will curse them because what I've experienced. Instead, I will bring constructive feedback and offer some solutions to them and see how this goes. At the end, they might have employees where they might have never thought of it. I don't wanna think the other way around (which weidner thinks this place is one of those complexes they wanna get rid of or simply don't care at all) Long story short future resident, I know I typed too much and you are looking for an optimum one for yourself or your family. So read this below carefully because you are about to hear some fascinating news about this complex (?) 1) Parking Issue: There is not a parking issue going on here. Yes, despite these guys commented below 2-3 years ago (referring to Google Reviews), there is not a parking issue. Why, because there is not a parking spot available if you are coming late night. So, the apartment complex solved the problem with time (smarty pants I know). If you come home late, and you need more than one parking space -remember that you're signing for only but only BUT ONLY one parking space- you should sell your other car. Simple as that. 2) Gated Community: The apartment complex is following crime maps so carefully and based on their take, they don't find any sense of urgency on fixing their gates. Some argue those gates were actually historical monuments left from very first comers to AZ so they can't really touch it even if they'd like to. We are so fortunate (!) to live in an apartment complex which has a national monument protected by yellow caution banners and it is open to public. Come and see yourself. 3) A Gym: This innovative apartment complex management approaches to amenities in a minimalistic way. Simple, cute and little embellishment is more than enough. You can see the imprints of this approach not only at the gym but all over the complex. The equipment (s-plural form is required when there is 2) are perfect fit for the fitness room. 4) Traffic: If you have a job in Tempe, your average travel will take about 35-40 min at least and the return probably a little longer during rush hour. If you'd like to meet with a guy who was desperate to experience that every single day oddly, I'm always down for a drink. 5) The AC Unit: AC literally strives for convincing you to believe that it works. With his continuous sound, he keeps reminding you that don't get crowded inside the rooms (consider 2 crowded) and I'm just gonna make you feel you are in LA with a breezing air blowing to your face...The only downside of the AC is he is not good with numbers. For instance, I could literally freeze in my former place if I'd set the AC to 75F but on this one, I'm a guy wandering around undressed to keep my cool especially upstairs. 6) Free Smoking: Yeah you read it correctly. It is unfortunately optional of course, but if you are lucky enough you can breathe in FREE "breathed marijuana, cigarette smoke" as much as you'd like to as you walk-in and out of your apartment. Your neighbors are very generous off of that you don't even need to ask. 7) Free Hugs from Little Bugs: Seems hard to believe to the fact how welcoming they can be but two nights in a row these cute little real hosts of the place (duhh) are cuddling me in my bed to comfort me that I'm safe in their arms/legs. All I can hope they don't go further. 8) Agreement: Just giving you heads up that you sign up to an agreement where you technically promise that you will pay 11-12 months of payment regardless of what. In other words, if you decide to leave for whatever the reason, you either will pay the rest amount of how many ever month you agreed to stay or you will keep paying until someone moves into your apartment (crossing finger option). Make your call wisely. Last note, I really wanna be one of those tenants who gave 5 stars to apartment complex some day and I will really work hard to make that happen. I haven't experienced the trails, pool and meeting with the staff in person so hopefully it will encourage me to stay pleasantly here for many weeks to come. But,these are my 3 day experience so, time will tell how these things will go. I will be updating here regularly also how I feel about living here. And of course, I will contact management about my takes and let people know how they respond to that. Let's see how it goes.
