| - I really don't get it. The Four Seasons Las Vegas is way overrated. Granted the folks put on a good front, but that can't take the place of style, contemporary rooms and attention to details. We were given a room with an air conditioning problem, not to mention the annoying music coming from the Mandalay Bay pool area as our room was facing the pool. Also, this suite is old and worn throughout. Definitely below standard. We did what anybody would do at that point and called the front desk and were given an upgrade, but would have to wait until the room was cleaned and inspected. Anyway, that was a nice gesture, and we obviously accepted, but I'm feeling a tad put out . After all, paying for a suite at the Four Seasons is not cheap. We were alerted by the assistant manager that our new room was ready and proceeded. Unfortunately, upon arriving we noticed a substance(not sure what) on the toilet seat of the powder room. What? Did they not inspect this room? Also, why did they put us facing the pool again after they specifically said they would not. We called again and demanded compensation, which they provided. I'm angry because this is my vacation and I do not want to be negotiating on my free time. Anyway, after the difficult first day, things were looking brighter. However upon returning to our room after some sightseeing several days later, we were greeted with blue stains all over the toilet and adjacent walls of the Master Bathroom. Now this is getting ridiculous. Called again. Why should I pay such high costs for such poor quality and attention?. We were given the whole first night. The housekeeping assistant manager said they do not use blue substance for cleaning in their Hotel; that was before he remembered glass cleaner . Basically this is not a Five Star Hotel. It needs major renovations in the rooms and they definitely need to do a better job with their overall communication as well as quality control.
