Fairview Mall's Aritzia has terrible customer service and they don't even know their own return and exchange policy.
I went into Fairview's Aritzia two weeks ago to try on a coat and decided that the medium fit (I'm usually a small but wanted to make sure I ordered the correct size online).... I ordered it online during the Black Friday event and got it 10% off. When it arrived on the Sunday, the medium was way too big. I immediately went to Fairview to exchange the size and the employee and manager both said that I would have to pay the difference because the coat was no longer on sale. I was trying to exchange the EXACT same style and colour of the coat for a size smaller and they wanted me to pay the difference! According to the store manager and employee, that was their policy. I left the store with my coat and called customer care. I was very fortunate to have dealt with such a helpful woman over the phone (I believe her name was Shauna or Sonja in Vancouver) and she took care of me. She also said that the manager and employee were wrong about the policy. She even apologized for my in-store experience. Afterwards, I called Fairview's Aritzia to inform that that they had wrongfully dealt with my coat situation. (Imagine the amount of people they scam into paying more for items just to exchange the size!!) The manager spoke gave me some bullshit excuse saying I was trying to exchange it for a different item, not the truth of what happened.
I would highly recommend avoiding Fairview Mall's Aritzia. Their managers are ignorant of Aritzia's real return and exhange policy.
