I really, really, really wish I would have read reviews on here before I went to Madison Geeks for service and purchasing a new computer. I've had the same experiences as several other people. We paid for a computer a month ago they said it would be ready in a week-week in a half. And we still have no computer. They say they'll call and they dont. We have not gotten one call from them, it is always us calling them. We've been calling and calling, half the time no one answers and we have to keep hounding and calling them. I was on hold for close to 10 min today trying to talk to a supervisor and he was busy with another customer and guy said he'd call me back, he didn't. The guy on the phone said he had no idea where the computer was because he didnt work on it??? Do they not keep records, documents; why is someone answering the phone who cant help. I get if its not ready exactly on time by a few days but almost a month now??
I called one week ago and the guys said it would be ready by the latest today. My Husband called on Friday (its Monday now) that guy said it would be ready as well. No one has called us its been over a month now since we paid for a product and nothing. Any place else I could've had a computer within days if the day of. We needed data transfered from an old computer so that is why we choose Madison Geeks but I am realizing that was a huge mistake. I guess I will keep calling and calling until I get a computer or my money back. I am seriously considering contacting the Better Business Bureau; you cannot take someones money and promise them a product within a certain amount of time and then not provide customer service, I might have gotten one slight apology for what is going on, however todays phone call was unacceptable and noting how upset I was no one called me back as promised. I will never go back here or recommend this place to anyone I know.
