  • If you're looking for a boarding facility for your dog, then look no further! I've been boarding my dog, Bronx, with Howard and Tammy (the owners) in their home for the past year. They have always been wonderful with Bronx, so I knew I would continue boarding Bronx with them when they opened up Wiggles and Wags. I left Bronx at Wiggles and Wags for the first time over the Christmas holiday (for 6 nights). I arrived bright and early around 7:45am to drop him off, and Howard was there to greet me! Their process is pretty seamless -- Howard takes care of all the paperwork, and then calls Tammy to let her know that you have arrived. Tammy then comes over (from the kennels, which are located across the breezeway) to escort you and your dog to your dog's kennel. When I walked in the kennel area I was surprised to find that it smelled more like a spa than a dog kennel. No nasty urine smells like you sometimes find where many dogs are boarded in the same area! The kennels come in different sizes, but for my one dog, the kennel is 5x4 foot in size -- a very good size with plenty of room for Bronx to move around. All of the kennels have tempered glass instead of cage-like bars, which is also a very nice feature. My Bronx is a high energy (some would call him wild) dog, so I get nervous when he's around other dogs in fear that other dogs may snap at him for being so hyper. However, I never have that concern when I leave Bronx with Howard and Tammy. They are also dog trainers, so they really know how to pair Bronx up with other dogs that are as high energy as him. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Howard while I was on my Christmas vacation showing Bronx playing keep away with some other high energy dogs! All of the dogs were running around and having a great time, which eases any discomfort I had about leaving my dog for so long. Wiggles and Wags makes it a point to take all guests of Wiggles and Wags outside to play every 2 hours, so they are not locked up in their kennels all day! How awesome is that? Lastly, I would like to point out that unlike many kennels that have check-in and check-out times, and payments for partial days, etc., Wiggles and Wags charges by a per night basis, period. I dropped off Bronx at 7:45am on Friday, and picked him up at 2:30pm the following Thursday. I was charged a flat rate for each night that Bronx stayed there, and was not charged extra because his pick-up time was after noon! I highly, highly recommend Wiggles and Wags Pet Resort! I encourage you to visit the facility prior to your trip to check it out for yourself.
