I don't eat cooked fish or seafood. I love eating fish and seafood in carpaccio, tartare, sashimi or such. The problem with that is that the freshness of the produce can't be questionable, it must be very fresh. Thankfully, this place keep very high quality fish. The other day we stopped by and got fresh scallops (pétoncles, which we ate in carpaccio) and salmon (which we had in tartare). It was a royal feast, fresh, tasty.
One of the staff was telling us that one of his customer is Jimmy from Sushi restaurant Mikado on St-Denis st and it happens to be our longtime favourite sushi spot in Montreal! Small world!
It can be crowded here on Friday night and weekend.
