This place could easily be 5 stars if it weren't for the staff.
Housekeeping did a half ass job. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport but apparently the only one who can tell you the info or be at all helpful is the day shift lady. I asked the night shift lady and she acted totally weird and talked sarcastically to me. I'm just asking for basic information, do your freaking job and quit being an idiot!
There is also a shuttle to and from Epic with an equally mysterious leave time. I was told it left at 715 and 745, so I got downstairs the first morning around 730 and saw the shuttle driver. I asked him if it left at 745 and he said it usually did but he could take me now. Which was nice, but he made me feel like I wasn't doing something right because I tried to verify the time with him.
Then the next day I went down right at 745 and there was no shuttle in sight. Asked the same night shift lady if the shuttle was on its way or had already left and she acted clueless and mentioned that the shuttle sometimes leaves early if it is full. What the heck is the point of having a schedule then?! Finally I had to ask her to call the shuttle driver (twice because she didn't want to) and she talked about me while on the phone with him in an irritated voice (dude I was right there and I am a customer!). Then she told me "you need to be outside right now". I went out and the shuttle driver had come back for me, so props to him.
Overall, the customer service was just unacceptable in my opinion. The staff act like they are doing you a huge favor with the shuttle transportation, but that is part of the reason people stay there, so I'd say it's included in the cost of your room!
The building itself is very nice and comfy overall. They have an awesome pool area, especially appealing to kids. There is a playground in the pool area with a slide into a kiddy pool and some water basketball hoops. The jacuzzi is awesome with a waterfall falling into it. Also another perk is the water in the room got nice and hot for the shower, and the room had a microwave and mini fridge.
Like I said, the place is chock full of potential if they could just train their staff about Hospitality 101!
