My wife and I stopped by on Thursday during the busy 'Restaurant Week'. Without reservations we still managed to get seats at the bar within 5 minutes, all because we had a good host.
My wife had a glass of chardonnay and I had a gin and tonic. The wine was chilled just enough and the drink was very good. We ordered some oysters to continue temping fate with Midwest seafood and they were neither bad nor great. They were good. What you would expect.
I could have done without the wait staff stating that the oysters looked like 'goobers' but we may return if we visit downtown Madison again.
