  • We live in S.CA. and travel back and forth to Las Vegas on the weekends to do some remodeling on our house in Summerlin. We needed a glass & mirror contractor to pull a few large mirrors off the walls but who worked on Saturdays. Davis Glass was the only one I could find who offered regular work time on Saturday. They gave me an ETA window of 9:00 - 1:00 this past Saturday and arrived at 10:00 am. Darryl and Rick A. came in and went right to work pulling off a medium sized (4'x6') bathroom counter-top mirror and a full length (4'x10') wall mirror behind a pedestal sink in our 'powder room'. This full length mirror was especially difficult, as they had to first remove the pedestal sink that was adhered to the mirror, then cut and remove the glass in pieces due to the electrical and plumbing connections installed through the glass. They were careful not to damage anything else, were finished within a half hour, and cleaned up all the debris, including the mounting hardware. They were both exceptionally polite and pleasant young men and extremely capable at their work. Just be aware that - probably because it was a Saturday - you'll be charged for the full hour, even for a partial hour of work. But the rate wasn't too bad (less than $200/hr) and we were glad to get the work done quickly so we could proceed with floor, cabinet, sink, and tile installation. We have some additional window and shower glass work in the near future and we will definitely give Davis Glass the opportunity to do that work for us.
