| - Not too bad. The service was fast, no small talk. Order. Box? Check. If he's okay with it, then I am too.
The complimentary chips and salsa was as expected, but we did order a side of queso which was tasty. I ordered the vegetarian sopes since it was the first time I've seem them offered in a Mexican restaurant. I can't say that I loved it, rather it was alright. The cornmeal shells were dense, but good. The 'special sauce' could best be described as a bland tomato sauce... almost like a spaghetti sauce. Also, it had sprinkled cheese on it, Parmesan? Couldn't tell you.
My companion ordered one of the combination platters - included a chile relleno, taco, and enchilada. For some reason, we couldn't find the chile relleno. There was a puddle of cheese (with a ton of oil resting on top), but no relleno. How mysterious.
Would we go back? Probably.
