I met Max last November when I took my first active metabolic assessment at lifetime in gilbert. I was on a tight budget and could not afford hourly rates for personal training. He gave me my first test and went over the purpose and the results with me. I was impressed with it because it was supposed to help me with what I needed the most which was to effectively workout without exercising long hours and making sure that I burn more fat than carbs. For s9meone who works long hours and has to manage work and family that was awesome! I decided not only to complete the assessment but also to have Max coach me every month.
I scored poorly on the first test! I was depressed but that also motivated me to be better. I used to crossfit so I thought that I would score higher.
I started to follow the plan regularly watching my diet without being depressed. I also per his recommendation played a little with the weights.. I now completed my 3rd assessment and I am consistently improving.. I have improved in all aspects. I can feel the difference in energy and what I can do on a daily basis. I don't dread doing my workouts. I am never too exhausted but still I am seeing results! My body is adjusting well with this. I go to the gym and I see others work very hard and I smile because I know that I am probably losing as much fat as them but not killing myself. Lol
