Worst car rental experience and service ever.
We rented the car from the LV airport auto rental center. Initially there were 5 ppl in line with 4 associates working in the counter. 15 minutes later, 2 went on break and only 2 left as the line grew to 10. It took us over 45 minutes before we were sent to get our car. Not too sure it would be any faster if the sales associates stopped talking to each other in their native language or reading each other's cell phone. It would have been faster if she stopped the scare tactic in pushing us to buy extra insurance. After saying no and strictly declining her extra hard sell, she insisted that our insurance did not cover this and that and we are in LV and anything can happen. All through the service, she looked cranky and inpatience. Her last comment was that next time we should reserve with the 'express car pick up'. Guess she did not like us make her work and interuptting her socializing with her co-workers. Talking about bad servie, she had to be on the top.
The first car we got had no license plate. We checked and they said it is okay for there is a paper temp license on the dashboard. Obviously nobody care to check that the temp license was really there. We finally found a paper in the glove box that is a receipt for the temp license which is expiring the next day. Our car rental was for 4 days. We had to point it out to two workers before they told us to go back and check with people in the 'express' pick up counter. The lady there actually was nice and got us another car but with no comp, no upgrade- just a smile. But that's the best service we had from Budget there that day. So after one and a half hour at the auto rental center, we finally got to leave with a car.
I would have given them a minus one star but the service was good when we returned the car and the car was okay.
