| - Came in around 6 or so on a Friday evening, but luckily we didn't have to wait for a table. The place was already quite crowded though, and the tables next to us filled up quickly. Service started off okay, our waiter was extremely friendly, although he seemed very busy.
We ordered the Wagyu sliders to start, with housemade chips. Highly recommend this as an appetizer to share. The beef was cooked medium, and very flavorful. Served on mini pretzel buns. Very cute and delicious.
My boyfriend ordered the pork belly mac, and I had the steak frites. My dish was pretty self explanatory - steak (I asked for medium, got it closer to well-done), and frites. Not anything outstanding nor special, but delicious nonetheless. The pork belly mac was pretty standard too. Mac and cheese was good (but then again, when ISN'T mac and cheese good??!), and pork belly, while was a little on the tough side, was decently flavorful.
Towards the end of our meal, a waitress, who was serving the table next to us, leaned across and over my boyfriend to hand the table next to us their check. It was an extremely awkward moment for him as he couldn't move out of the way. She could have walked up to the table and handed the bill to them just fine, but reaching over someone else is plain rude and awkward.
The food, while good, was nothing exceptionally special. I would come here again if a group of friends wanted to, but I wouldn't personally choose to come here again if I had other options.
