With some many noodle places to choose from in Chinatown, it's easy to miss Homemade Ramen. This place was bustling when we walked in at lunchtime. I wasn't hungry at first, but after waiting for a bit and smelling the sweet soupy aroma, I was ready to eat! I like the thicker texture of the handcut handmade noodles. The braised beef was tender and wel- marinated, even the tendon pieces were soft and easy to eat. My bowl of noodle soup seemed neverending! The meat to noodle ratio was definitely on par, maybe even too much beef! Although the menu indicated that the noodle soup is spicy, I couldn't taste the spice in the soup and had to add in more hot sauce that was provided on the table. For $10 (including tax and tip), you definitely your money's worth. And especially on cold winter days like today, a bowl of steamy hot tasty noodle is exactly what I needed!
