| - Customers of the Vdara are charged a daily fee of $25 (which is absurd) to use the pool, gym and get 2 tiny bottles of water.
We could see the pool from our room so it was convenient to know when it was packed and when it wasn't. We went several times during our stay. HOT, hot, hot! Though we didn't quite experience this "Vdara Death Ray" phenomenal, it was dang hot and windy.
The pool is about 4' deep all around, not very big. The both times we went, we never felt crowded or cramp. There are plenty of lounge chairs to grab and thankfully, they have umbrellas too. It is hard to find a seat sometimes right near the umbrella since people are perched out since early morning reading or just relaxing. But if you wait and look hard enough, a shaded seat will turn up.
We never got food while out at the pool, mostly because it looked expensive so I can't really comment on that. The pool was refreshing though on the Saturday we were there, it was probably around 105-110 degrees and the pool water felt more like 85 degrees. It was very warm. Very. But nonetheless, it was refreshing to cool down in the water. Splash around. Mostly young adults, hardly any kids. They also have a shower off station and a drinking fountain. Oh and of course, towels are free.
It was no Bellagio or Caesar's pool, but it did the job for our weekend getaway.
