I hate leaving negative feedback on people and this is my first. But people should know who they are dealing with and what kind of service they are going to get.
This company is a joke! Horrible! When my A/C went out. I called my home warranty company. They connected me with this company for my repairs. Then Dean Family Service sent a guy out who was not qualified to make the necessary repairs. Their repair tech came out and serviced my unit, he told me he fixed it. I asked how did he fix it, he said he added Freon. I asked him again how did he fix it and got the same answer. I told him that he knew better than I that filling it with Freon alone was not a fix but a patch! That if it needed Freon there was a leak and that he needed to find the leak. He admitted to me that I was correct but that he was not qualified nor did he have the time to make the repair properly. He said he would let his office know. I called the office and spoke with the person in charge. She told me that they were very busy and that she was going to reschedule for someone that knew how to search for a leak come back and bring the same tech with him so he could learn how to do this kind of repair. I agreed, told her that I needed them to come back in the next couple days as I was going to travel for business. She said she would call me back and let me know when it was going to be.
I did not hear back from her so I called them back and she told me that she had decided that they could not send anyone in time and that she had contacted my home warranty company (Old Republic, who really have been awesome to deal with over the last 4 years) and told them they needed to send someone else. I asked her what should I do then. She said wait for them to call me.
I called Old Republic to find out when someone was going to be coming and they told me that they had not heard from Dean Family Repair and as far as they knew the unit was fixed. I explained to the representative that this was not the case and what had transpired. They apologized and are sending out another company to make the proper repairs. So the lady who handles Dean Family Service straight up lied to me to make me go away. Horrible! Not a company I would ever do business with and neither should you!
