| - I gave birth to my child at this hospital, and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay there. The birthing rooms are big and clean with large tubs available if you want to labor in water. The hospital environment is very accommodating to mothers who want to give birth without pain medication as well. All the nurses were kind to us and very helpful. You are guaranteed a private post-partum room that is large and clean with a sofa that can be extended outwards for your partner to sleep on overnight. My delivery didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked and I ended up unexpectedly needing an emergency C section. The transition however was very quick and smooth, they had me see my baby in the nursery as soon as I recovered, as he needed some extra help with breathing and recovering- and for several days due to his health the nurses had me visit him every 2-3 hours around the clock to feed him and be with him. The nurses there had all different personalities but one thing they had in common is they genuinely cared about my baby and my well being. They taught me so much to get started on breastfeeding and caring for my baby, and the lactation consultants were great too. The hospital is quiet and clean, we get tea time in the afternoon, baby gifts, goody bags, lots of information and resources once we leave the hospital, the food brought into our room three times a day wasn't bad, and they are very accommodating to guests (there is no designated visiting hours, as guests can visit anytime). I came out of the hospital confident that I had received really good care, and I look forward to birthing there again in the future.
