I got the eel that comes with rice and soup. The fish entree was not enough to share but if you get a dinner entree it comes with a ton of food that my husband was not able to get through and looked enough for two people. I also got the melon cream soda. Super sweet but good enough to try. Many of the other reviews mention the owner not being friendly. I disagree. We were second in line to pay, and he accidentally rang us up first. He had a hard time explaining what he had done and smiled when we figured out what he was getting at. The issue could be more of a language/culture barrier rather than not caring to give menu suggestions.
The place feels and tastes real authentic although I do agree it could be wiped down, the blinds we sat next to looked like they hadn't been clean since they were put up. Also it's uncomfortably silent, so I don't suggest bringing first dates.
