  • AZ summer heat started and as a result my 12-13 years old AC decided to take a dump on a Friday afternoon. Called Sundevil for a check up and paid a $60 service fee. A tech came out on Saturday afternoon and found that the AC coil is leaking freon. Recommended to replace system and prices seemed reasonable for new systems. Unfortunately I found much better pricing with another contractor. They priced me $5k + tax for a 13 SEER Rheem, i found a 14 SEER Goodman installed for $5k. Not bad pricing but 13 SEER is being phased out. I rated them three stars because I've been having them come out every year for a check up for the past 3 years. and not once anyone mentioned about a leaking for quite some time. It's a simple test using a tool which can tell you if you have freon in the air. With a pregnant wife it makes it even worse. Make sure you used living social as their pricing on that site is much better.
