| - I'm conflicted in posting a review, but feel compelled to let people who are potentially booking at this hotel know that there are A LOT of renovations going on at the property and A LOT of amenities are closed down and not available to guests. And hey, I get it, the renovations do need to be done, but the various travel booking sites are not going to warn you about them and then you arrive and ..."surprise!" it's too late and or too costly to rebook at the last minute somewhere else. Main Pool closed...Ghost Bar closed...Casino...open but covered in dry-wall and "coming soon" signage.
For us, it was not a huge deal because we were simply there to sleep, shower etc and meet up with friends staying at another property on the strip. But, if you're intending to actually use the property and enjoy your stay, you may want to call prior to booking and find out exactly what will/won't be open for use when you arrive, because it may be a deal breaker for you.
On a positive, FIVE STAR * * * * * note, our king room in the ivory tower, was modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was friendly, very accommodating and come to find out, extremely trustworthy. I left some possessions behind in the room's safe and didn't realize it until after we checked out, 8 hours later, when returned home. In a panic I called the hotel security and they informed me that my items had been discovered and turned in by the housekeeping staff. So, for that, I have nothing but thanks and gratitude.
