I really thought I had found "The best doggy groomer" after several other fails. And for a while this was the case, I would request Lamar which is no longer with this establishment and oh how we miss him. I've always said it doesn't matter if the groomer is in a $ or $$$$ priced establishment, it is ALL about the groomer. I won't spend too much time on this update but I had to write an update. Long hair dogs can be a bit of a challenge, and add a second coat and you have double the work. Occasionally there will be a few matted pieces, nothing out of the ordinary but in this case the groomer whom I believe was the owner decided to take it upon herself to give him rat bites all over his legs. When I picked him up I was informed of this and she added that she almost had to shave him. She had no right to do either without consulting me first and if this was way over their grooming skills they could have also called me rather than give him the worst grooming service ever. Any grooming professional should be well informed of the different breeds as some will not grow back fur which is the case with my dog. There is no fixing what they did and the lack of professionalism and knowledge is why I could never recommend this place.
