  • Just needed some good food so saw this had a lot of good reviews and was nearby. Not a very large place and parking isn't plentiful in the immediate area, but don't let that detour you from stopping in. You can start smelling the smoke doing its work before you even enter. Walked in at 7:30 on a Wednesday and it was crowded but were able to get seated right away at a table but decided to sit at the bar instead. Decent beer selection and heavy on the local breweries. Split appetizer of the pimento cheese fries, no meat on it as we didn't want to fill up, but it was a lot and excellent. Added a little hot sauce for a kick made these even better. Split a 3 taco plate, one chicken and two pork BBQ, liked the pork but the chicken was outstanding. Also shared a side of the smoked veggies and collards that were both very good. They make their own pepper vinegar and it is good on everything, especially the greens. Would recommend but it is a BBQ place, expect to walk out with a hint of that great smoke aroma with you so keep in mind what you are doing after.
