  • I end up here a lot -- not necessarily because it's my favorite theatre in Charlotte, but because the types of movies I generally watch always end up here. You won't catch a lot of big, summer blockbuster, popcorn-style movies here. It's definitely geared toward the artsy set, and all the smaller releases you need to catch up on during Oscars season will be playing at Park Terrace. The location is great and the parking is ample. If you're able to catch an afternoon flick, there are a bunch of places in and around the Park Road Shopping Center that are worth the time to check out. My only beef with this place is concessions. No matter how early I roll in before my movie, the concession line is always painfully slow. The employees are kind and I'm consistently served with a smile, but I've missed the first few minutes of several movies because it takes so long to get my popcorn.
