You ever want to not review a place because you fear that other's will find out it's awesome? ... Yeah, I guess that's why I've been holding off on reviewing Whiskey Warehouse. Either that or I'm a procrastinator. Here's the top three reason why Whiskey Warehouse is favored so dearly by me:
1. Wings
The wings are some of the best "traditional" wings I've had in Charlotte and I've committed to finding good wings where ever I live. Wings over Everything! Wings (and ball) is Life! ... Anyway, there's a ton of good options in terms of sauce or dry rub. My top three choices are: Lemon Pepper, Parmesan Garlic and BBQ (tangy deliciousness). The wings are meaty and crispy and never disappoint. I usually go for all drums because all wing connoisseurs know the drums are the best.
2. Value / Happy Hour
Love wings but balling on a budget? ... 1/2 price apps Monday through Friday. All the wing goodness, half the price! I guess there's other apps to try but I would stress focusing on the wings. .. Love whiskey! Of course you do! What else would you down your wings with? ... Well my friend / stranger reading this review there's $4 Jack Daniels drinks just for you (or anybody else with $4). Can't go wrong there. There's tons of other great whiskey to pick from at a very reasonable price.
3. Brunch on the Patio
Sunday brunch ... you, your friends, a couple of flights of Mimosas for $12 or $2 glasses, a good selection of yummy eats ranging from pancakes to burgers and wings of course. what more could you ask for? ... You: What about a nice view of the Uptown skyline? ... Whiskey Warehouse: I got you fam. ... The patio give you all of that. If it's nice out, it might take you a little bit to grab a really good spot.
