We just took our newly adopted cat, who had never seen a vet in his first two years, to Queen Dufferin Animal Clinic. Both the vet and vet tech were very friendly and caring...both to us and the cat as well as to the other clients that came in and out.
This small clinic has a very laid back and functional vibe...if you're an overly doting pet guardian who wants a pristine and contemporary space that seems more suited to affluent guardians than the cat itself, then this is not the place for you. However, if you're like me and really care for your pet but realize that it is, after all a cat, and just wants friendly and competent treatment in a basic but clean space, then place is perfect. Moreover, the simplicity shows up in their prices, which are substantially lower than those closer to downtown core (we called around).
