  • My fiancĂ© and I dine in and around the Central Phoenix area frequently and this is our first time at The Main Ingredient. We have been missing out!!! A converted home, this sweet space has generous outside seating, misters to cool you down on those warm AZ nights. The bar is small but packed with regulars and a full bar of taps for local and artisanal beers, the inside dining area has plenty of seating, cool & fun music and walls adorned with art featuring local artists. The cocktails were delicious! TMI Lemonade, is sneaky and dangerous while disguised as a refreshing cranberry & lemonade delight. The food! OMG...the best BLT I have EVER had! Piled high w pork underbelly bacon, fresh and tender lettuce, grilled bread and fresh sweet tomatoes...add on avocado and thinly sliced red onion and a flavor explosion happens in your mouth! The tuna was creamy fresh and tasty against freshly baked bread. All in all, a great restaurant featuring fresh ingredients, great atmosphere and superb beers and cocktails! A definite MUST DO if you live in Central Phoenix!!!
