| - The major problem with this restaurant, and I've been there twice, is that the service is slow and poor, and that really puts me off. A few nights ago I ate there with two other people and the restaurant was only about half full. We were all very hungry, so I asked if we could have our garlic bread straight away. Of course, says the waitress. 15 minutes later - no bread. I asked again and it finally came out. How hard can it be to toast bread and smear it with garlic butter???? Poor performance, especially since it was not busy. The drinks were equally slow to come out. I don't understand what is so complicated about pulling a draft beer!!! The food is generally pretty good, especially the crawfish sauce you can get with your catfish - really great. The jambalaya leaves a bit to be desired, however. Too dry and starchy. The red beans are good, though, as is the catfish, albeit a bit heavy on the batter. Oh, I grew up in Cajun country, so I know how it should be prepared.
