  • I'm a local, but I have been seeing on the news that business for Mandalay Bay has been hurting since the shooting. It breaks my heart because it's one of the best resorts on the Strip. The reasons why I love this place is because of the Shark Reef, the beach, it has an Elvira Mistress of the Dark slot machine, and it has the best show on the Strip which is Michael Jackson One. I stayed the night here last night and the room is beautiful! The bathtub is relaxing! I went out late looking for a cold margarita and I had to walk into the Luxor and it was sad to see that the casino in the Luxor was crowded, yet Mandalay Bay was almost lifeless! We as a community have to support each other because Las Vegas depends on it, so I decided to spend some money and show my support to one of the best resorts on the Strip. I hope that Mandalay Bay can recover from this tragedy because their resort is too awesome to lose. My only gripe is that the spa was closed down, I work so much and I had my heart set on their spa!
