Love this airport. It doesn't bring about the stress that Pearson does and everything is simply easier, even more so now with the pedestrian tunnel.
I live uptown, but a cab ride costs me the same to Billy Bishop as it does to Pearson. And I can easily take the subway here if necessary.
The tunnel walk is less than 5 minutes long and nothing confusing about it....it's so clearly marked and you can really only go straight. You go down the elevators when you arrive, then walk down a long hallway, then up some escalators and you are at check-in. Check-in/baggage drop is a breeze. Friendly staff (a lot friendlier than Person). Doesn't feel like you are at an airport.
Love the cafe with the free drinks (soda, iced tea, water, coffee, tea) and cookies (those cookies are amazingggg). They sell items like beer and sandwiches for a reasonable price. They also have free wifi!
Only downfall is the seating...there is never enough seats in the tiny lounge and you have to hover around and wait until a flight boards to score someones chair or just be ok with standing.
