Wrong. I thought I would faint as my lungs constricted from lack of oxygen and only after I complained, and it was acknowledged, did a new air circulation help me to breath again.
I say this is public torture and most of the passengers aren't the type who would realize what was happening or complain. But YOU can and should if necessary.
