I don't go out much since I am married with a son. But every once in a while I join up with my buddy who is single and go out with him on the town. Of course since my buddy is single he enjoys looking at ladies. And we both love films of all genres so what better place to check out on a Saturday night than a place that sells beer and shows obscure films. So we rolled to the filmbar.
First this place is nothing like a movie theater. The brightness and video game machines that we all loved back in the 80s 90s. Yeah that ain't at this place. It is dark and dreary. Like well lemme think. hmmmm A bar. It reminds me of the type of places that open up all the time and close in a month back home in LA. Hipster or scenester bars they call them. Now I am not talking about if they show good movies or not. I am talking about the atmosphere of the place. Honestly it just didn't feel fun. It felt dark and dreary and depressing. One would need to pound a lot of alcohol to loosen up in this place.
2nd the people. hahahahaha. Man times have changed. These people just depressed me. They all seemed to just be trying too hard. Maybe hipster is the proper word. Come on dudes. Those over tight pants just look stupid. Conversations people were talking about in this place. I just wanted to leave. And do you think there were any pretty girls in the place for my buddy to look at? NOPE. Seriously not one. It was pretty much a sausage fest. So if you are looking to meet ladies. hahahaha keep walking.
So if you are looking for a place that looks like a dark depressing hipster coffee shop that sells beer and wine where everyone is not smiling and frowning. Yeah this the place for you. If you are looking forward to some obscure films. Just download them and skip this place. You will thank me for it later.
Never will be back.
