This seemed to be a very congested airport with construction going on everywhere.
The ceilings had exposed wires everywhere, and the gate areas were unbelievably congested and crowded. Construction is OK, but most airports find a way to make it unobtrusive. At CLT, however, it makes the hallways incredibly cramped and the gate areas as well.
Restrooms were similarly crowded and in poor shape.
The concourse walkways between terminals were better and more roomy and had interesting rocking chairs lined up next to the moving walkways.
There seemed to be a decent variety of stores and restaurants. I'm not sure if there is WiFi, but I could not find any sort of WiFi connection outside of the Admiral's Club.
