  • I really wish that I could give this place ZERO stars. They should be shut down and I am pondering who to turn them into first. I honestly do not even know where to begin with all the weirdness that "is this place." We went in with a KSHP shopping certificate which they did NOT want to honor. For those of you who don't know what a KSHP certificate is, it is a discounted certificate that you purchase in advance that allows you discounts for goods and services at participating merchants. The certificates are presented as payment at the time of service. In this case, we had called ahead, made two appointments and told them we would be utilizing one certificate. *** This place is esthetically pleasant looking. Clean and tidy which I think gave me a false sense of security. Things felt off in the beginning but I brushed those feelings aside because I was distracted by the person and chandeliers. Don't make the same mistake.*** 1. BAIT AND SWITCH AT IT'S WORST!!! My husband and I both got massages tonight. One utilizing a certificate. We were charged $10 extra for the other massage because "they don't make money off of the certificates." The female massage therapist was our cashier and she can only be explained as ANGRY. She asked if we had a coupon, my husband said yes and handed her the certificate. She then raised her voice stating that that was NOT A COUPON. THAT IS FREE. I was NOT happy that this exchange had taken such an ugly turn so I quickly corrected her explaining that the certificate was NOT free for us and that we had paid for it. She didn't miss a beat though and went into a long nasty tirade about how they don't make any money off of them. She did not want to accept it at all so that in itself turned into a verbal tug of war. Since we had given her a credit card before she had given us a grand total this turned into a battle royale. She insisted that we pay enough in tips to make up for the "free" massage. Although the pricing painted on the windows and on the card inside the shop clearly stated that a massage was $29, we were charged $39 plus a $10 FORCED TIP. She was somewhat belligerent and very demanding about the tip amount. By this time we were having a very heated discussion in the lobby in which she continued to display outrage that we had given her a prepaid certificate. We had no choice at this point unless we wanted to call the police since she refused to give the card back. It had escalated into quite the argument. This woman acted as though she had been trained in a prison camp. 2. The massages were AWFUL by the way! My husband said she was very aggressive and that it was the roughest most painful massage he has ever had. My guy was just timid and seemed to have no technique. My massage consisted of a weird rubdown. Disclaimer: my husband and I have been getting 2-3 massages per month for the past 15 years, so this was not our first rodeo. 3. BEWARE! There should be a cover charge to get into this place because there were nudes as far as the eye could see. This place is NOT for people who don't want their entire nude body on display. There is a large room where all of the beds are. You walk through the middle, a hallway of sorts. There are little cubbies/rooms on each side. No doors. Just more like cubicles in a call center with very little privacy. You are led to your cubby where the massage therapist leaves you to undress and get on the table for the massage. This is pretty standard as far as massages go, however it got progressively weirder from there. My therapist was kind enough to put up a short curtain which still left me feeling very exposed. I am short and although my upper body was out of sight my lower body was available for viewing so I undressed as far in the corner as possible. My husband got no such courtesy. His cubby was left open and he undressed and dressed in plain sight of anyone who chose to walk past. (You had to pass my husband's cubby to get to the restroom BTW). His penis was visible to most of the room. I finished up before him and I was just across from his so I walked over to his cubby expecting him to be fully dressed since there was no curtain or partition. Nope. There he was just starting to get dressed in all of his fantastically naked glory. I laughed thinking that he had taken his curtain down in playful anticipation of my arrival. Kind of a quick "Look honey, I'm naked and naughty" statement. That was not the case. He very had a curtain for cover. I don't say this jokingly although I realize that it sounds ridiculous. I am not a prude, nor is he but this felt like a massage that was being done in a back room in Thailand.
