| - I bought a Tacoma here in January, I will never spend another penny of my money in a Larry miller dealership.
The price was fair but the salesman was horrible. Pushed all of my questions to the side, told me he was working on his day off and did not want to be there. Very unprofessional, I'm assuming because were relatively young this was acceptable?
My second day in the vehicle and the battery dies, not from anything I did, it's a 1 year old vehicle and apparently the 200 or 500 point inspection, or whatever they do doesn't include a new battery. I start work at 2 am, so I have to call a taxi after I just spent 28k on a vehicle. I call and complain and ask why after spending that much money do I need to spend an additional $300 for taxis and a new battery. While apologetic, I'm left with basically you're out of luck sir, we will not reimburse you for any of the losses.
Great start but it gets better! The finance manager had some personal issues and had to take time off. I understand as I am in management as well. Rather than assign his work to others at dealership (like a manager should do if taking time off)he let it sit on his desk until he returned. The end result? My first payment was late because they didn't file my paperwork in time, and when they did, sent it to the wrong address! Again, apologetic but also, you're out of luck sir and we are not going to offer you any type compensation.
I wish that was the end but it's not. My temporary plates were about to expire and my registration still hadn't showed up. I follow up with dealership, I shouldn't have to because I'm paying them to do this but I've got a good idea in why I haven't received my registration. Once again, waited until the last day to send my registration out. I asked the woman if they would be responsible if I get a ticket for no registration? "No sir, we will not be responsible for that" I drove 4 days on expired tags.
I tell everyone I know to stay away from Larry miller Toyota if they're looking for a vehicle. I understand that companies make mistakes, as I work for a large company myself. A reputable company owns up to mistakes and makes it right with the customer. Nothing of the sort ever happened with Larry Miller.
Edit: it's comical how you read these bad reviews and there's a response from a Larry Miller employee saying to contact the dealership so they can talk about the issue. It's been 3 months and 15+ phone calls and I even stopped by once in person... Conveniently, the person who I was supposed to see is either in a "meeting" or "unavailable" that day. Also they do not respond to the 10 voicemails I left. Larry Miller is a joke! They'll rip you off in a heartbeat at this location.
