| - I have been to La Pure about 4 times now and this is by far the worst experience. I had a pedicure and an SNS manicure. Henry did my pedicure and he is wonderful! Very sweet, personable, and does a great job. However, the lady who did my SNS manicure did a HORRIBLE job. I have had many SNS manicures and this was just unacceptable. As you can see in the photo I chose a darker color. There was dried color all over my fingertips. I informed her of this when she finished the mani and her response was, "it will wash off". I stood at the sink for 5 min and nothing came off. I told them it was not coming off and they used coconut oil with zero success of the color coming off. She actually had to grab the cuticle clippers and pick off the color from my fingertips which took about 5 min or more. She stated every dark color has this result. Like I mentioned above, I have had many dark color SNS manis and this has never happened! I went to check out and I questioned about whether I am being charged for a mani? Her response was yes. I said, well I did not receive a hand massage and everything else that comes with a mani. All she did was dip my fingernails, file with the drill, and make a mess on my fingertips. Their excuse was the massage makes the SNS crack. What!!?? At this point I am in disbelief. Once again, never had this issue before when I've received a true SNS mani. It lasted for weeks with the massage! I'm beyond disappointed. In the pic you can still see the dark color around my cuticles, "oh but it will wash off". I could have done my nails better than this. But instead I was charged $45 for a terrible service and just a basic nail dip. Unbelievable.
*UPDATE 1/13/18*
After voicing my concerns, Dee whom I believe is the owner reached out to me immediately and apologized profusely for what happened. She was very understanding, exemplified excellent customer service, and offered a full refund for the SNS mani. She also offered a complimentary Revive pedicure for the unfortunate experience I had. I greatly appreciate and respect Dee for her constant communication. Her actions to resolve what had taken place were very professional. I've been to La Pure quite a few times and each time was nothing short of amazing. Unfortunately I had one bad experience, but that will not deter me away from getting pedicures. Thank you again Dee and the La Pure team!
