Only saw one movie this year, but it was almost the highlight of my otherwise routine, newly homebodied life. These people do a great job with a ton of passion. You would never think you are in a half empty mall/ future Halloween store during festival time. They really turn the place into a miniature Cannes. Fitting since normally cans are the only source of revenue for anyone visiting the area. They do a bang up job with the guide and related ephemera. And the little whimsical animated promo they make every year that screens before every film always fills me with hometown pride(which seems to be very lacking of late with all the alleged champions of crooked river culture). Going to make a concerted effort to always hit up the festival.
