| - I've spent a lot of money in here over the past... wow... six months. An awful lot of money, though not all of it mine. Let's break it down:
1. Sister's MacBook
2. My MacBook Pro
3. Replacement screen on my iPhone
For the notebooks, I've never had an easier time spending a large pile of money. This is good - barely a question when we pointed at a machine and said "We want that one", on both occasions - and bad, in that I might become easily addicted. Both times the salespeople were very attentive, and stayed with us during the seemingly inevitable payment processing hurdles (I'm not normally one to spend lots in one place, and I expect my Visa normal usage profile reflects that). They stood by and kept us company, even laughing at some of my rather lame computer jokes. I never felt rushed at all by them, which is nice.
Getting the iPhone repaired was, apart from the $275 hit, a joy. I hand over my shattered phone, and not ten minutes later it's handed back to me with a new screen. I was seen about ten minutes later than my scheduled appointment, which isn't too bad. I wound up bringing it back a week later since the proximity sensor - the one that turns of the screen when you hold it to your face - wasn't working, which they fixed in another ten minutes, at no charge. They even took me early for that appointment, which was awesome.
Being centrally located and close to public transit, this is now my go-to Mac shop, even though the Sherway one is technically closer to me. Let it be known that I will be back, hopefully for non-repair issues, and not so often that I wind up living in a house made of Macs.
