  • I knew it was time to find an alterations place when I got home from work one day and realized my zipper was broken and my fly must have been open all day! Living and working downtown made this spot a no-brainer. And, judging by the volume of orthodox jewish wedding photos on the walls, and the thick eastern European accent, I think my Ukrainian Jewish mother in law would be proud of my selection! I walked in at the end of the lunch hour and there was no wait. The following week my rehabbed pants and a hemmed dress were ready for somewhere around $40 total. If you don't come on the pickup date your told though, I'd suggest calling first JUST to make sure they're open. Of course I tried to go a different day and there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for the day. WOMP WOMP.
