  • Echo is an awesome spot in old town for studying or reading. Friendly staff and good coffee. It's one of my 3 go-to spots and has never let me down. 4+ years. To anyone who complains about service: I stopped in the other night to do some work, there was a younger guy working alone behind the counter. I left him a decent tip and when he came to give me my coffee, he brought change with him because he figured I had made a mistake. That kind of integrity impresses the s$$t out of me and it is a reflection of both that young man's moral compass as well as the values that echo imparts on its team. If you find yourself offended by the extremely kind and honest staff at Echo, you should frequent Starbucks more often where you can find other low caliber customers. Smile, be kind and the world is a much nicer place:).
