I have come here a few times to get my acrylics filled, and I've never been particularly impressed. Always make an appointment-- I've been turned away at least three times trying to walk in. I'm a student living on campus, so it's the most convenient nail salon in terms of location, and their prices are pretty good-- I paid 17 dollars for the fill itself and 3 dollars for them to be shortened + tip. I didn't catch his name, but the man who did my nails this time ignored my two attempts at apologetic lighthearted jokes (if he hated me because of the state of my acrylics, I suppose I understand) and didn't ask what I thought about the shape or ultimate thickness of the acrylics. I'm EXTREMELY picky about my acrylics, so I was disappointed when I left the salon with a chunk of acrylic stuck to my finger and a small amount of nail polish off of the nail and a little bubble on one-- which is nitpicky, but I know there must be someone out there who must be as OCD as me about their nails and hate when any part of the process is rushed! I just got home and my nail polish is already smudged-- only on one finger though, because the topcoat was globbed on in a rush and dried slower than the rest of the fingers. I'm going to go in and see if they will fix it for me quickly. Overall, S&T will do in a pinch, but I'm going to keep looking for my go-to place.
