| - We're new to Nevada and used Yelp to help us find a pediatrician for our son who just turned 3. Siena Pediatrics had some amazing reviews so we scheduled an appointment for our son's three year checkup. Unfortunately, our experience was horrible. Immediately after the appointment my wife called me in tears, saying that she felt attacked and belittled by Dr. Kailili. During the very short time that the doctor was in the room, she didn't once speak to our son and any questions made by my wife were met with ridiculous responses. For example, a simple request to check out a mole on our son was answered with, why do you think he has cancer? Requests for information about screenings for vision and hearing, a requirement before entering preschool in Illinois, was dismissed as completely unnecessary by Dr. Kailili. Whether this is her normal behavior or she was just having a bad day, Dr. Kailili's behavior was unacceptable. She needs to realize that insurance companies only allow one healthy visit per year and as such, kids may be scared and parents may have questions. Rushing through, being dismissive, and not even talking to our son, was a waste of our time and our insurance visit. We'll never return to Siena and will petition the insurance company to allow another healthy visit with a doctor who actually cares about her patients.
